Masayuki Miura is Professor of Department of Genetics, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo. His research interest is to reveal the physiological roles and basic mechanisms of cell death in development, growth and aging. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan University and got his Ph. D in Biological Chemistry from Osaka University. He is Chair, the Board of Directors, The Japanese Society for Cell Death Research.
